PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Registration for the Orto Medical Care Congress 2026 implies acceptance of these Payment Terms and Conditions.

1. Payment Method

Registration fees must be paid exclusively by bank card through a secure payment gateway (virtual POS) managed by a financial institution or authorized payment service provider.

2. Authorization of Charge

By completing the registration process, the participant expressly authorizes the charge to their card for the amount corresponding to the selected registration category, in accordance with the applicable fee in force at that time.

3. Completion of Registration

Registration shall only be deemed completed once payment has been authorized and confirmed by the financial institution. Completion of the registration form alone does not grant any right to participate.

4. Price

The registration fee shall be the amount displayed before completing the purchase process and shall include, where applicable, any taxes and other mandatory charges. The participant will be informed of the total amount before making the payment.

5. Confirmation

Once payment has been completed, the participant will receive an electronic confirmation at the email address provided, serving as proof of registration and payment.

6. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds

Requests for cancellation or modification of registration must be submitted in writing to the organizers via email at omcferia@fedop.org.

Failure to attend the Congress, regardless of the reason, shall not entitle the participant to any full or partial refund of the amounts paid.

Registrations may be transferred to another person from the same organization or company, provided that written notice is given to the organizers at least 5 business days before the start of the Congress and all information necessary to complete the transfer is provided.

Changes to the registration category shall be subject to availability and, where applicable, payment of any corresponding price difference.

If the Congress is cancelled by the organizers, participants shall be entitled to a full refund of the amounts actually paid, without entitlement to any additional compensation for other expenses or damages.

In the event of a substantial change to the Congress dates due to organizational reasons, the organizers shall offer participants the option of maintaining their registration for the new dates or requesting a full refund of the amount paid.

No refunds shall be granted where attendance is prevented by personal, professional, family, health, transport, accommodation, visa-related circumstances, or any other reason beyond the organizers' control.

7. Payment Security

Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway that complies with the applicable security standards. FEDOP does not store or have access to complete bank card details, which shall be processed exclusively by the relevant financial institution or payment service provider.

8. Payment Incidents

If payment is declined, cancelled, or cannot be processed for any reason, the registration shall not be completed. FEDOP shall not be liable for incidents attributable to financial institutions or payment service providers.

9. Acceptance

Completion of the registration and payment process constitutes full acceptance of these Payment Terms and Conditions and of the Participation and Access Rules for Attendees. The participant declares that they have previously received clear and sufficient information regarding the price, payment method, timing of the charge, and all other applicable financial conditions.
